As my headline alluded to my debut course Beat that Deadline: Dictation for Content Creators is officially live on the SkillShare platform.
So why did I develop a course on dictation? Well, it’s simple really, I thought, the way I use it to fast draft my books might be beneficial to other creatives and professionals.
Is it for everyone? Absolutely, and with any skill level too. The course is an introduction to a very inexpensive alternative than buying a super expensive software (the brand shall remain nameless) to do dictation with. I will walk you through creating a short blog post broken up into 5 minute sprints (3 rounds total). You’d be amazed at how many words you can speak in such a short time when you’re working on a blog post or your novel.
Have I Piqued Your Interest Yet?
I really hope that I have. The whole principle of this course is to get your words down as quickly as possible, so you can move onto your next task.
GET YOUR FIRST 2 MONTHS FREE
When you sign up for a premium membership on SkillShare, you’ll receive your first 2 months totally free. Just click on the button above or below to sign up and you’ll receive full access to an abundance of courses and not just mine. As far as learning libraries go, Skillshare is the bomb and I can’t recommend them enough.
I sincerely hope you’ll consider checking it out. I’d really love to do an expanded version on this topic with a different type of challenge and perhaps maybe turn it into a fun flash fiction exercise, but I suppose that all depends on how this one is received.
Are You Ready for a Surprise Second Announcement?
I have a YouTube channel and I’m so ready to utilize that space on the web to interact with y’all. I have enough content outlined that would keep the channel going for years and a variety of topics will be covered, so I’m going to have to categorize the videos into their respective playlists until I can identify which content is being watched the most.
We all have to start somewhere, so if I can reach out to others on that platform, I’m willing to try. So, with that being said, I know I don’t have any videos up yet, but I hope you’ll consider subscribing to my channel and it the bell icon to be notified when my first video goes live, I’d be eternally grateful for your support.
These last few months have taken a toll on me emotionally and building up my confidence get back in front of the camera has been an ongoing work in progress.
One last note before I let you go. Thank you for your continued patience with my long overdue absence from writing new books. I am presently preparing a novella for a release later this summer and a brand new historical novel too which I’m planning on submitting to publishers soonish. You’ve been incredibly patient and I promise many new books are coming. Thank you a million times and God bless.
