Lessons learned along the way are not to force things that don’t transpire the way you want. Literally everything happens for a reason and there’s usually a lesson to be experienced if things went sideways.
Much like this extraordinarily long hiatus I have been with writing. Thankfully, I am back and working on a new series and not the original one I set out to do two years ago. Stories and your voice cannot and should not be patched together so hastily. Especially when you want to relate and create a character that feels true.
I have been going through things that are certainly not life threatening, but I had some life lessons to learn. I’ve been on a spiritual journey too that in some ways still makes little sense of how I got here, but here we are. At present, I am at peace with direction I’m going personal and writing wise, and where it all ends up, who knows?
This game of life is a topsy-turvy rollercoaster ride to which we are in some ways not really in control of. Surrendering each day to the universe has given me a new perspective on how I work.
Manifestations of grandeur are in progress. So is this insane new series idea that takes place in Jane Austen’s universe.
Up first is Mary Bennett’s story, who will find her match in every way. Definitely not before embarrassing herself far worse than her piano playing and singing at the ball. That is all the hints you’ll get at this stage of my writing.
I’ll also be likely plotting out Kitty’s story too, before our summer ends. But first, I’d like to know what do you think of Lydia getting an even happier story? Mr. Wickham was surely a harsh lesson to experience and can you imagine what that marriage looks like on the inside, was it in fact an actual real life marriage?

Let me know what you think below in the comments. Should Lydia get a second chance at a happily ever after?
That’s it for today, but I wish you all a spectacular Sunday filled with love and blessings. Happy reading!
Sincerely,
Layna
